We may rather bigger crowds for atmosphere but the club just look at the income.

Yes Annis £99 for a child although we charge £69. So in a way we are charging £30 more for the child.
However....a child need to be with an adult, expected to be the parent being the family club we are, who would pay £299 minimum adult price with us unlike at Bradford who would pay £169. That works out as £100 cheaper at Bradford.
Some people are so bitter they cannot see it.

Wayne, in my opinion City should of made it very cheap for kids anywhere in the ground with a paying Adult

If we charged the same prices as Bradford we would get 20000 ticket holders in my opinion. Whilst this may not make as much money in the short term compared with our current price structure the long term benefits would be huge.
More people in the ground means greater match day revenues. Programmes, food and drink sales would increase as would car parking. Merchandising sales would rise and again create extra revenues. More importantly it would increase our fan base and make the club sustainable in the long term.
Sadly those in charge have little foresight.
What the club should do next season is reopen the upper ninian stand and use the 5000 capacity to give free tickets to schools across South and west wales. When a free ticket is given out if the person attends they should be given the option to buy a ticket at half price for the next game and maybe given a 10% voucher for club shop.
