Plus for me was 409 cardiff fans turned out for wednesday night friendly
the players to stand out for me were firstly joe mason he looked different class to anyone else on the pitch and must be a starter
fabio looked comfortable and well up for it as left back , osillaja looked strong and again comfortable as a right back ,again they would be starters , the young ex arsenal player looked rather pacy and comfortable on the ball , and in the first half kennedy was very busy and stood out , also un known to me the young lad wearing 56 I think named patton demanded the ball in the middle of the park and looked full of confidence when he came on
now the minuses
ben wilson looked nervous in goal second half , noone looked the same as last season all huff and puff not much end product however it was his pass that found mason for our goal, digickoi didnt do much wrong but didnt do much to shine, peltier gave us nothing going foreward like fabio and ossillaja gave us, whitts missed another penalty and what made it worse was him telling doyle to do one when doyle grabbed the ball to take it ,
on a lighter moment it was funny how our fans kept calling for our trialist to do the ayatollah
he clearly had no idea what the hell to do noony came to the rescue and told him what to do which he eventually done, however the fans than sang can he do it on his own and kept asking trialist do the ayatollah fortunatly the final whistle saved him
the last minus for me must be how we switched off at the back from the free kick forrest green scored from
luckily we have some better players to come in for our next test at shrewsbury on saturday

Why? Whitts is usually the penalty taker, and it was a good penalty and an excellent save from the keeper

I am not as confident with whitts taking pens as i was before i think Doyle should be taking them now thats my opinion.

Doyle was penalty taker in our last couple if games of last season and has 100% scoring record
whitts has missed 2 of his last 3 I think
but whitts was not the only minus last night

Being a dick? Trying to go against team orders and attempting to take it off Whittingham is being a dick. You should just leave him alone, doing that only puts him under more pressure.

Agree with almost everything...but thought whitts was unlucky with the pen. Keeper made one hell of a save.
Thought Noone looked sharp.
