Actually I agree mate, I used to love the thrill of a saturday, good atmosphere with people I know. Now our atmosphere is Soo bad. Watching us is bad, fans finding excuses for everything rather than enjoying it. I now find myself checking cardiff's goals on soccer Saturday and am never really bothered

I tend to agree. I'm watching more of Cardiff devils these days

Id rather be a flat out nerd all my life than conform to the generalised idea of "growing up".
Do whatever the f**k you want to do!. Enjoy whatever you want to do. You live you die!

If you're in your mid twenties then you can only have been supporting the City in any serious way for the last fifteen years. That fifteen years has been the most eventful period in our history. We've had promotions, play off finals, FA cup final, league cup final, a season in the top flight, not to mention the off field shennanegins!
It's hardly surprising that after all that, there may be a period where some of our less committed fans decide they aren't really as fanatical as they thought they were.
But to suggest that you can "grow up" from football seems a bit silly, and suggests that anyone older is somehow behaving childishly.

Yeah, think it's only natural tbf.
Be a bit sad if I'm still going down every week when I'm 40 with the lads.
Prob will though

What the hell is sad about going to the football with your friends?? There's no age limit on enjoying your self ffs

Do you have to stop going to the pub too, stop going to gigs, the cinema, stop playing sport? If were to take an educated guess I would say that the majority of our support was over 30.

I've been saying the same for a few years now.

I love football just as much as I always have. The fact I click on this forum every day without even thinking just see what's going on in the world of Cardiff City reminds me of that. You would all be a bit more cheerful if we supported a decent football team.

I will never fall out of love with Cardiff City after over 30 years but going to home games is dire, no passion with these all seater stadiums. Never the same without a ferocious Ninian Park.
I haven't been excited so far with the new season about to start.
I'm sure there are thousands in my position.
Only our attendances this season will prove this.

Well come on do me a favour, Grow out if football? The comments on here never cease to amaze me it's probably why I keep coming on every day. These are probably the types that meet a girl and wont see a game till they split up... We all know the types I'm talking about.

Pretty much felt the same as O P last year but the return to Blue brough me back.
Went to forest green last night. A few pints a great laugh and the banter from fans with Parkin and trialist was hilarious.
The second half was a football match and really enjoyable. Their keeper was great.
Came home with a smile on my face
Thats my idea of Football.
Fuckin hated the last few years after our wembleys; dour football, dour fans, same songs, same stadiums - everywhere
On the terraces last night was a tonic

Never felt the same as the OP, who seems to think that he's too cool, or grown up, to go down the City any more. Agree with you about Forest Green, though. I went too, and really enjoyed it. Proper football

I could never stop loving football but as you grow older you do start to become a bit more cynical about it all. That's just life I suppose.
