We have a good enough squad but now it's upto our manager to manage it
We still have that squad so how come those same people are saying we need loads of new players
Slade got some good results towards the end of last season but he gets no credit
Let's be honest our squad was seriously under achieving until the end of season upturn
So why can't our squad perform to there abilities this season and even maybe over achieve
All this negativity and we haven't kicked a ball yet

The squad has lost a few players since then, many thought the likes of Daehli and Guerra would be key. I would say more people had faith in Ole going into last season than they have in Slade going into this season.

The squad in my opinion is average but it could push into the play/offs with a good manager. We don't have that manager in my opinion.

Yes Slade got a few results at the end of the season when the games were pointless and the pressure off. Slade will get credit when he takes us up, didn't he say minimum of top 6?

Loads of people said we had a great squad last season but that doesn't mean that they were right. In fact they were proved to be wrong. And not for the first time. Or the last.

Loads of people said we had a great squad last season but that doesn't mean that they were right. In fact they were proved to be wrong. And not for the first time. Or the last.

Might have been down to the fact that we had too big a squad last season, with the atmosphere around the club being poisonous and not helped by all the negativity still surrounding the fact we were still playing in red!

Will see where we are in October.

Do we??? I don't think so, I think that we need at least another 2-3 players to freshen things up a bit. I think that we should replace Adeyemi now, mind you Dickagcoi is back and he could be like a new signing. But I still feel that we need to get at the very least, a striker and another winger and then try and move one or two of the other wingers that we have out on loan (Kennedy and Harris) and/or sell Nooney and raise some cash. I would be a lot more confident for next season if we could sign Johnny Russell and another goalscorer, possibly someone on loan from the Premiership. Maybe even bring Frazier back on loan. I do think that Russell is definitely worth forking out £2.5m for and we should get in there as soon as possible, before another club goes in for him, like a QPR who have big money and big wages available, cause they would just blow us out of the water. Even if we only sign one more player in this transfer window, but that signing was Johnny Russell, I would be a lot happier and I think that with him and Ameobi in the team, alongside some of the quality players we do have at the club, that we would be good enough for the Play Offs at the very least.

Unfortunately we do not have the squad. Lacking in a lot of areas, quality, pace, full backs, decent goal scorers. Mid table at best.

Just being realistic. We could have done with 3/4 quality players this summer but it looks as if no money is likely to be spent to add that quality.

We have a squad; not necessarily a good one! And we have a manager etc.!
