Leeds United told to stump up £1m if they want to make Tom Adeyemi's 12 month loan from Cardiff City permanent
As brought to you late last night, Cardiff’s Tom Adeyemi was in talks with Leeds United to sign on as a season-long loan with a purchase option should the Whites be keen to follow up with a permanent deal for the 23-year old.
Well, this morning, Leeds United admitted that was the case and that Tom Adeyemi had indeed signed on as a Leeds United player for the 2015/16 campaign.

The WOL story also said that the cost of Adeyemi from Birmingham last year was £750,000.
If both parts are right this makes the deal a bit better and more understandable.
Either City make a profit on a player who (through injury and/or manager preference) never made an impact ('potential'), or we get him back for the final year of his contract after he has played much more than he would have with us this coming season.

Letting Adeyemi leave is a big mistake - clueless decision

Leeds wont stump a million for a player with just a year left on his contract

Have to disagree he's not the all energy player we expected, poor touch, doesn't get goals or even in goal scoring positions, not a great tackler and probably fifth choice with us,he goes to Leeds and gets game time like ralls did with Yeovil and can either come back and battle for a place or we sell him on at a profit,at the end of the day we have to offload players if we want to bring anyone in so letting players not in the managers plans go is sensible from the club,we are finally starting to be run a bit more sensibly

erm, based on what? he showed very little urgency last season and we'll hardly notice he has gone IMO, very forgettable player.
he's very likely to be back next year anyway as i can't see leeds paying £1m for him.
