Since we got a Whittingham love in on another thread, I thought I'd start one for Aron. In my view he gets a lot of stick because he covers for his partner in midfield and therefore has a continuing burden. He may not be the most skillful player around, but there again apart from Manga which City player is? To my mind he's a big asset to us, here's to you Aron

As long as Slade doesn't pair him with Whittingham in midfield, I wouldn't mind him having another season with the club

Hugely over rated. What does he do apart from run around? Score goals? Very few. Set pieces? Not really. Killer passes? Not really. Tackling? Poor technique which is why he so often comes off injured. Doesn't ever possess a long throw any more.

We need better to allow Whitts to do what he does best - which is mostly what Gunnar can not do.

Funny as how he's deemed crucial to Iceland's national team, who like Wales, are flying high in their difficult qualifying group and have also shot up in the world rankings!

I know 100% that Rydogs isn't PartyWithOle because I actually agree with 99% of Rydog's posts and he seems a good lad... I don't think that they are at all similar

This ^^^^^ although I do like Gunnarsson but I disagree on him covering for Whitts, it's the other way around
