I think he was pointless signing tbh its good we are unloading we have got players like him anyway.
Mon Jul 13, 2015 7:17 pm
We have Dikgacoi. Gunnar & okeefe & 1 more incoming.

Disagree, the lad needs lots of game time and he won't get it here at the moment.
Mon Jul 13, 2015 7:22 pm
Rather that than him not playing again all season. Should have had a look during pre season at him though IMO but that's OGS AND Slade who didn't play him now.
Hope he does well and comes back a better player.
Any news on wages paid/loan fee and is it all season or to January?

Not a pointless signing at all. He looked a decent signing and chipped in when he could. The fact Kagisho Dikgacoi is on extrodinary wages and is being given a first team chance is stupid. Build the team around the young. Adeyemi is decent, not been given a chance

Maybe so but i don't think we need him now with Gunnar Dikacoi who isn't on as much as we thought and Okeefe and Ralls.

Nothing i have seen except that first game that suggested he is anything like we need. Ever since that game he looks slow unable to pass to a team mate and likely to be sent off after 20 mins.
Another OGS weird signing, that made little sense other than to Ole.
Like Guerra, Slade watches them every day in training and see's there must be something missing.

What a joke
we keep o'keefe and he got 2 left feet
Mon Jul 13, 2015 8:08 pm
A sensible decision in my opinion, he did show some class but he wasn't realistically going to be getting any game time next season.
Mon Jul 13, 2015 8:18 pm
After our treatment by Leeds last season I feel we should be doing no business with them whatsoever
Yet another poor decision by our management
Mon Jul 13, 2015 8:21 pm
What an absolutely senseless decision by a Dickhead! Leeds must me wanking over this and realising how stupid we are! Same as last year Slade you prick!
Mon Jul 13, 2015 8:26 pm
Good decision, gives him first team football and us a few grand off the wage bill whilst hopefully developing a talented player.
Mon Jul 13, 2015 8:45 pm
Slade never seemed to want to give him a chance sadly.
Mon Jul 13, 2015 8:45 pm
Slade never gave him a look in
Really wouldn't be surprised to see Adeyemi become a big hit at Leeds.
Not happy about this, we got overrun game after game last season and it appears we are going in with the same players!

Slade tends to not give many Ole players a chance. Great to slag off Ole signings but not when they've barely played

My mate is a Leeds fan and says that the local press up there are saying it is a season long loan with an option to buy, so we may not see him again.
Mon Jul 13, 2015 9:12 pm
I do rate Adeyemi and I think he can achieve things here with us, he just needed to be given a chance but Slade obviously doesn't think so. In a way it's good that he has gone on loan, as he will hopefully play a lot more at Leeds than he would have done for us this season. I honestly think that this loan could prove vital for him and hopefully when he gets back then he can play regularly. I hope if he does well at Leeds, that we don't sell him, as I think we would be losing a player with potential. Just like when we signed Jordan Mutch, he wasn't that great in his first season and a lot of the fans were saying what a waste of money he was. However, the next season and for the rest of his short City career he was quality for us. I think this is what may happen with Adeyemi, as I think he will return from Leeds having been either their Player or Young Player of the year for the season and then we can reap the rewards when he gets back. Either with him running our midfield or us selling him on for good money. I personally want him to come back then get given a chance by Slade and then remain a City player for as long as he wants.
Good luck Tom, show Slade what you can do at Leeds and rub it in his face.
Dirty Leeds!!!!!
Bloooooobirds.

Leeds are on the brink of signing Cardiff midfielder Tom Adeyemi on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The midfielder joined Cardiff in a £1.1million deal from Birmingham last summer, but struggled to make an impact in South Wales, with his last appearance for the club coming in March.
The box-to-box midfielder, 23, started his career at Norwich but played under new Leeds boss Uwe Rosler at Brentford as the club suffered play-off final heartbreak against Yeovil in 2013.
Adeyemi travelled to Leeds on Monday for talks and a medical and it is thought a move to the Whites, initially on a season-long loan, will be confirmed on Tuesday.
Rosler has been in the market for a new central midfielder after the club lost Luke Murphy for the opening month of the season to a knee injury. Jamaican midfielder Rudy Austin was released on a free at the end of last season.

He never had a look in after Slade took over. Real shame.

Crazy
no problem with the loan but should not sell as he will come good

That's the bit I don't like if the West Yorkshire press reports are correct.
Leeds hold all the cards. They can turn the loan into a permanent if they like what they see - or they can ship him home if they don't.
Heads they win; tails we lose!

As brought to you earlier by The72 and other media outlets, Leeds are interested in signing Cardiff’s young central midfielder, Tom Adeyemi, on a season-long loan with the prospect of a permanent deal in the offing should his performances warrant the offer of a deal from the Whites. However, a picture seemingly taken in Bewleys in Leeds and uploaded to a Leeds United Facebook group (below), shows Leeds’ head coach Uwe Rösler and Tom Adeyemi seemingly in a conversation that will possibly spark an announcement tomorrow, should the necessary particulars be worked out.

A very good player
Tue Jul 14, 2015 8:10 am
Another player who hasn't had a good run of games in our first team. Didn't get the chance to prove himself.
Tue Jul 14, 2015 8:18 am
I always thought he was a good solid player for us when he played.
He obviously needs game time but Leeds FFS
Hope this decision does not come back to bite us on the arse AGAIN ???
Blooobirds Forever !!!

Opinion on Adeyemi clearly divided. We never seem to agree on anything, do we. For what it's worth, I think Solkskaer made some terrible signings with perhaps one exception. And it wasn't Adeyemi.
