I was told today, expect no more than 1 and if you were a betting man that position would be midfield.
If Slade can get rid of any of the 8 plus players, which Slade has been told to move on,then there is a chance of more signings

I think most of us think the same. Unfortunately, most of those 8 are probably not good enough for the Premier League but too expensive for most Championship clubs. I hope that when the season starts, the club tells everyone that they are staying until at least the next transfer window, and it is up to each of the 8 to prove their worth to the club. Kenwyne Jones is still a damn good championship striker even if he is paid twice what he should be.

One more in will be enough in my opinion

There's a bunch that need to go some should never of arrived really no excitement about the new season everyone else making good signings and we are limbering along Slade out, Tan out, our club will be lucky to stay in the championship this year I'm even thinking about putting a bet on us to go down might get a good pay out to cheer me up after the heartbreak of seeing the club I supported since a child torn apart and made a mockery of

cheer up ffs! Its not that bad!
We have a decent squad as it is, we found a little bit of form coming to the end of last season.
IM NOT A SLADE FAN! but we were hard to beat end of last season.
I personally think we need 2 at a push 3 players (midfielder and a striker if we sell ALF)

If we can get our strikers scoring, then our current squad is easily Play-off material. Slade, just has to find a way of getting the strikers confident and wanting to do well for the club their currently at

Obviously don't watch city or keep eye on transfers in champ by your statement!

If we finished mid table, I'm not sure if only 2 additions will be enough.
But I'm usually wrong. We could surprise people this year I think. Play offs. And a cup final I predict.

Not sure what to make of that!
We need to get rid i appreciate that but we were shocking for long periods of last season getting totally dominated in the middle of the park by poor to average sides! We didn't retain the ball, didn't create much from open play and didn't work hard enough off the ball.... We should be looking to address this issues. A ball winning midfielder/leader and potential captain and someone with creativity and quality who can do something from nothing to change and win the game.
Sticking with whitts and Gunnar is not the answer.. And Is ralls ready to take on that role week in week out consistently? I'm not sure..

Been a while since the squad was this uninspiring, let's hope they can prove themselves

It's the fact that we can't get shot of the unwanted players is the biggest concern to me.
The club's inflated wage policy is still haunting our potential progress.

I think you are right. It's not the manager's fault players are not coming in, he is still operating from a difficult position. I hope City fans give him the support he deserves this season.

Maybe you should start watching the games and keeping an eye on the transfers, kalas to Middlesbrough, Ince to Derby, mcceckran to Brentford amongst other good signings being made in the championship apart from us we sign a defender that never even made an appearance on loan last season and we sign a cart horse in Sammy ameobi

The midfielder you mention is exactly what we need Over the years we haven't had many of those. Only Kavanagh and Billy Ronson immediately come to mind. But getting a good one would cost a fortune and I don't mean the likes of Gerard, Lampard, Bremner or Mullery. But maybe someone like Billy bonds would fit the bill
