A forum for all things Cardiff City

I'm looking for 4 quotes to use for section headings for my book, "The Blues Are Back In Town", which covers last season, the fight to have blue restored, and a look back over the years.
Looking for any quotes, preferably with a bit of humour, relating to:
- Anything to do with last season, managers, players, starting off in red, finishing in blue, crowd, atmosphere, etc.
- Anything to do with the protests and the rebrand
- Anything to do with Cardiff City over the years (pretty broad category, I realise)
This is basically my lazy way of doing research! But I expect it could make a pretty entertaining post in itself.
So if you think you yourself has said something that has made people laugh, or something you can recall from another user, post it on here. If you're one of the 4 that's selected, you'll get a free copy of the book (wow!).

Heh. Yes, sure that was funny. But as requested, I'm looking for people to basically do my research for me! Do you have a full quote, or at least the username so I could search for a quote? This is going to be a bit painstaking otherwise. It's at the request of the publishers (not necessarily this precisely, but to have quotes for the section headings).

Have a look under "Colourblind". You will find most of my favourites there.

Any where it was said we would sell out if we went back to Blue would be good.

Anything by Swansealad69. You may have to pay for a Stupid-To-English translator though.

Careful. Don't upset Annis. But it could have been that fount of all knowledge, Sian Branson. Truly a legend in her own mind.

As youve once again brought me in to a topic, which was nothing about me, I can assure you, I never once said that to the clubs, others did and yet still hardly go themselves.

Sorry about that. I now recall your disappointment that reverting back to blue did not lead to the upsurge in attendances you had hoped for and that at the time you did indeed criticise those who promised that it would yet still stayed away themselves.

If Slade polishes his head then there's a chance we may shine.

Cheers, No problem

There were various posts on here and in the press. I don't remember Annis saying that. Annis knew that it would never be as simple as that. Too much had occurred.
