Taking the kids to watch City?

Morning all,

I was just wondering at what age you guys started taking your children down the City? My daughters 3 at the moment and although I'm mighty tempted to try a pre season friendly I'm going to wait at least one more year I think.

I took my boy when he was 3, last year, he was really looking forward to it, but during the game he was complaining it was too loud for him.

My daughter was 8 and my son 5, took them both at the same time to their first game last August vs Huddersfield. Daughter loved it, son spent most of the game upside down on the seat or looking the other way. I missed 2 Cardiff goals taking him to the toilet!!!

Going to take them a couple of times this year, think 6 or 7 is the ideal age really, they have a better attention span. It is really good value taking kids actually, apart from when they mug you for food and drinks

My little man is six his first game was palace in the prem he was four going on five he loved it,I took him over last season to five matches and he loved it even more,was in the canton with him and he loved it.take them again he'll enjoy it more the more he goes,my little man's last game was Birmingham at home and he no longer moans or anything just stands on his seat and soaks it all in
