As long as we don't revert back to the absolutely dire football of most of last season, I dont know if I could handle another season playing that utter rubbish.
I really hope we start this season as we ended the last. We need to get off to a flyer, playing positive attacking football. And if course us fans have to play our part, we have to get behind the team right from the start, If we can do that then I'm sure the missing thousands will start to return.

I wanna be positive, I just struggle to see how we will play well enough consistently based on last seasons performances. Even when we won it was generally awful stuff.

All we can do is support the boys and hope

I felt really optimistic last season, with all the new signings I felt we were gunna be up there winning week in and out.

I definitely don't feel that way this time but I feel that we are much better stability wise and with Slade having a full preseason with the players and all the coaches I think we will generally surprise people, as when you have time to work on something you can improve on it and make into what you want to.

He will get across his playing style and philosophy in the many weeks he has including the friendly matches he has to see who he can play and in what system he can play them in to get their talents out of them. With Trollope's help I have a believe the management team will get the players playing how they want them to play and how they believe the team can succeed on the pitch.

This season opener against Fulham can't come quick enough, I just want to see that team that was feared when we went out to play teams, that team that dug out results and battled at the top for any chance of promotion, be it automatic or playing extra games.

That's the way I see it.
I've been anti-Slade but I'm willing to give him a chance with a pre-season & his own players brought in but I'm not convinced.
He must start playing a decent style & not the 3 passes & give the ball away or whack it up the channels - park football type stuff we're used to seeing.
I also believe the fans can help by getting behind the team from the off.
I'd like to see everybody get into their seats early, rather than the last minute, & start the atmosphere - a bit like the early prem games.
