Sat Jul 11, 2015 3:47 pm

Just had a text from a Blackpool mate of mine who says their friendly away at Lancaster has been abandoned after a pitch invasion.

Good for them. It's disgusting what the Oystons have done to THEIR club and because the FA and football league do f@@k all about it, they've unfortunately had to resort to this action.
100% behind them.

WITHOUT FANS THERE IS NO FOOTBALL

Good to see they have the balls to protest.

Apathy is over rated. I'd hate apathy if I could be arsed.

Not really sure this is the right thing to do.

Sometimes though fans are left with no option.

It's going to be harder to protest when the club is forced to play with no home fans.

The protests will continue outside the ground. Saying that the Oystons managed to stop that somehow last time.

Exactly, I don't disagree with the protests at all and good on them, but ultimately it'll still harm the club when they get banned from attending if they continue that way.

The trouble with shitty but deep rooted owners, they hold so many cards.

Yes indeed and hopefully so many lessens will be learn't from all of this.

Without doubt you need an opposition group that will not bow down. What you don't need is a section of supporters licking the back sides of these owners regardless what they do. Yes give credit where its due but bow down like some did and you have a problem.

Eventually fan power if there is any will overcome. When it does you need to be realistic why it did happen. Tan did not return us to blue because he wanted to. He did it because he had to. I believe the season is he would have had a whitewash of season ticket sales and that is something he could not afford.

Awesome! This has been going on for some time now, so they decide too invade the pitch at........Lancaster? Why not do it last season at your place or Leeds/Millwall? Would surely have got more publicity for their plight. But no, they chose Lancaster! :laughing6:

Shame they didn't invade at ours. It would have been more entertaining than the game. Ccfc v bfc was worst ever 3-2 I've ever seen in 30 plus years of following football. Sadly 150 away fans at Cardiff would never get near the corner flag let alone the centre spot.

Of course Ga. I suppose the point I was trying too make was why bother invading the pitch at a pre season friendly in Lancaster? The Oystons would probably be laughing their cocks off, and any Blackpool fan with any sort of intelligence north of an amoeba should know that!

Completely agree. From our experience, if any other clubs fans were in a similar Hobson's Choice situation, then the lesson I've learned is that the majority of fans have to call it out. It is very much down to the fans taking action and hurting them in the pocket. Horrible situation to have to be in but as tough as it would be, an empty stadium is sadly the checkmate move.

Agree completely, well done to the Blackpool fans. Why any 'real' football supporter would slag them off is baffling.

Oyston makes Tan look like an almost normal chairman. They were going to take my bfc mate to court over comments he'd made on online forums but decided against it as he has served for our armed forces for past 6 years.

i'm 100% certain that Tan wanted the best for Cardiff City. He just hasn't got a clue, and got it very badly wrong. Oyston on the other hand has basically stolen money from BFC and ploughed it into his private businesses. I'm glad for your mate, but he got lucky, as they are so unscrupulous they don't give 2 fucks for bfc or the fans that support it.

Read an article where Oyston snr took around £11m in dividends from the club making him the highest paid director in the UK. I'm not sure about the highest paid director bit but £11m would certianly leave him well ahead of most of the CEOs in the country.
