A shame, would have liked to have seen another club suffer instead of us. :ayatollah:

They mocked us on what we went through, although some had sympathy. I respect no other club other than my own.

They certainly never mocked us when we played them in Cardiff and met up with hundreds of them.

I would not wish this on any club.

You literally have no idea what you're talking about.
Hull have been with us all of the way. Our fight against the rebrand joined with Hull's fight against Allam.
Hull & Cardiff fans have had that special bond together ever since that game at the KC when Hull joined us in the automatic promotion place on the very last game!

I'm glad that the league have put a stop to this name change. Hopefully the Hull fans won't hear any more of this nonsense from now on!

I think the FA should put a ban of at least 5 or 10 years before they can reapply.

Personally I wouldn't like to see any club suffer like we did, it was horrible and wouldn't wish that on any club. Also if they were allowed to do it then it would pave the way for other foreign owners to do what the hell they like so a big fat NO from me.

Spot on Annis, we were all singing together especially in the Ninian pub that time

A majority of their fans voted for it.

Very possibly they will go bust if their owner does pull out.

I think the FA should prevent any clubs from rebranding unless the fans are 100% with it.

That's a discusting attitude to have, just because we were shit on, it doesn't make it right to hope others suffer the same. I hope no other club goes through the shite that we did :bluescarf:

Greg Dyke was in favour? That's appalling!

Yes I would not like any other supporter of another club to go through what we did. Some clubs did stoke it up on us but Hull were not one of them.

There is one club I'd wish it on or rather one group of fans and that is the new breed of Jack fans who have only followed their team since the play offs.

You've got this badly wrong mate. We celebrated with them on the day they won promotion and we sang protest songs about our owners during the prem home game. Class fans :ayatollah:  :bluescarf:

However Hull fans voted for it. That's being forgotten.

Pleased that they are not going to have go through the crap that we did. If their board thinks that adopting an Americanised team name is going to make them more 'marketable' then they are fools. I can't comprehend why new 'savvy' owners want to destroy long established clubs identities which are often built over 100 years.Money can't buy that sort of heritage so why even think about destroying it by changing colours, badges and even names? Apparently Dyke changed his opinion when he met Allum after hearing how a name change would help raise their overseas profile. Just like changing to red made us the number one team in the Far East. Good on the FA for refusing this but genuinly shocked by Dyke's support given his position. Clubs have to be protected from these changes if the majority of supporters are against it. Unfortunately, we are the case study but let's crack on.
