Great signing by Palarse. £10 million rising to £13 million.
Amazing to think that in the year we were champions Palarse struggled through by winning the play-offs.
Another club who have mangaged to leave us miles behind. Made some very shrewd signings including two vwry good managerial appointments whilst we've had the clueless Norwegian and the lower league Mourinho.
They're probably relieved though that the appointment of Malky fell through if his spell at Wigan is anything to go by. \tan inadvertantly gave them a big boost by scuppering Malky's job offer.
£10 million for Cabaye yet we spent £8 million on that tw*t Cornelius and £12 million on Medel who did not boss one game for us all season!
I bloody hate Palarse with their idiotic "ultras" and shithole ground - how can clubs like this leave us so far behind so quickly?

He is an excellent player and a very good signing. Wouldnt have been surprised if he had signed for arsenal or liverpool which just shows the calibre of player he is. Palace are only where they are mind because of the appointment of Pulis, they were heading back down before he saved them. Just shows what couldve been for us if we chose him really.

they got him because of pardew, he wouldn't have come to CCFC if we were in the PL.
they made two great managerial appointments in pulis and pardew, whilst we made two crap appointments in solskjaer and slade. they have been run very poorly but they are doing well at the moment. both managers they had were unpopular and unfashionable previously but are both highly competent PL managers of small teams.

You mean their fans who actually make noise all game and their traditional stadium. I don't really like the cockney fuckers but we can't exactly knock anyone's fans from our souless modern bowl of a stadium can we?

Spot on, Pardew is the reason he went there. Pardew could easily manage a top 6 side and I think he would be a good choice for a team like Everton. Pulis gets the best out of his players and earns results because of it.
Solsjkaer was a disaster, and I think it's a bit unfair to be over critical of Slade while he is sorting out the mess left to him. Yes his football is boring but so is Pulis who many people (myself included) wanted here. Leyton Orient played good football under him so let him get players he thinks can bring him that kind of football at this level and then judge him.

You mention Ole and Slade but not Malky who took us up and spent a lot less than the Palace and Hull managers who kept their teams up.
