He is worth every penny. He's 1 of the best wingers in the championship & derby fans love him.

800.000 Would be an absolute bargain. If derby want more & i feel they will. I would offer alot more.

Be a quality signing but if he is going to be used as a winger then it will mean Noone or Pilks are on their way out.

I also thought that Russell can play striker as well as on the wing, if he does then maybe Slade is after him for that reason instead.

Personally I don't believe it but tbh unexpected things have happened at this club before.

But for 800k like Annis has mentioned I would much rather him over Noone.

Bidding 800k for someone of Russell's quality is cheeky but hopefully if it is under Derby's valuation, they will negotiate with city on a deal.
This would be one very impressive signing!

Do we need another winger? While money is supposedly in short supply at the club, I personally do not think we do need another winger especially for £2mill.

Yes. I believe Tan trusts Slade in the transfer market and Slade has presented to Tan why Russell would be a good signing for us and he's more than likely our top target so yes I do believe it.

They don't want to sell him! I can't see this one coming off, especially if we have offered only 800k. We're looking for a steal because they signed ince but I don't think well get it.

If Noone leaves,that would leave the door open and we would then have money.

No,but if we get him I think he would be a good signing

Why would it mean Pilks or Noone are on their way out, what we will have are two good wingers for either side, pressure to perform or you are out of the side

I doubt it but remember its not the club saying that.

We never really know the fees anymore, Morrison's value changes with every article ranging from 1.something to 6m
