loan signings

Looking at last season's Championship ,a number of loan signings from the Premier were crucial to the success of clubs, especially Bamford at Boro and Pritchard at Brentford (two of the best players in the League).I only hope Ameobi can make a similar impact. Certainly we need his pace and skill. Only hope we play to his strengths. I would really like to see McAleny back as well, even if on a similar deal. He's a great link between midfield and attack.

Me too. I like McAleny. Clever, skilful player. If we signed him too I think we could well be heading for an exciting season :bluescarf:

Indeed, a good loanee can make a crucial difference to a team's chances of success particularly in a tight division like the Championship.

Really hope Ameobi is more successful than some of our most recent loan signings.

Who do you think was our best loan signing over the last few seasons? I suppose the obvious one would be Bellamy and Rambo but for me it would probably be Koumas the first time he came to us.

Worst?

Probably JLloyd Samuel.

Wasn't Bywater on loan? One of the worst keepers I've seen! Eddie Newton was the best , followed by Koumas and Gary O'Neil.

I remember having Gerry Francis on loan for a month. Pure class even though he was past his best :bluescarf:

i would like to see more loan players coming in from prem league

I'd rather us get rid of kenwyn, macheda, le fonder and put the wages to a young hungry player on loan for example like mentioned before

Pritchard ripped us apart last seasn, Jerome Sinclair much like ibe from Liverpool, young boy keane or wlson from man u good strikers

Don't understand how we never get linked with many players on loan would like us to see us use it more if we aint going to spend money on big fees or wages

Best loan signing for me was Koumas in 2005.

I'm really excited about Ameobi. What a coup for us. Quality player who was linked with Everton & wba along with wolves &"real sociadad.
