I love the geordies they are great fun to drink with however we need to see for ourselves about any player as they think Newcastle UTD are as big as Man U and Liverpool and they are not also they said they were glad to get rid of chopra and look what he did for us .

Love how the Newcastle fans go on about 'Champ' level, not so long ago they were in the Championship, just narrowly avoided it again. Unrealistic fans think a top 6 finish is achieveable. There was only one guy on there that made any sense and what they've done with Ameobi is no different to what we've done in the past and for the same reasons.Nice to know other clubs got numpties too.

Newcastle fans are a laughing stock. I'm sure there are the odd ones that are sensible but they have so many deluded fans. Loads of players haven't quite done it at Premier League level but have then flourished in the Championship. I think this is the exact kind of move that Ameobi is relishing.

He will probably find his level or hopefully be slightly above his level in the Championship and will flourish. PL is obviously a lot better standard wise than the championship, but this may work in his favour playing for a smaller club with less pressure on him than at NUFC and a lower standard of football week in week out. Playing every game will also give him confidence I,m sure
