Cardiff City are hopeful of officially announcing the signing of wideman Sammy Ameobi on a season-long loan sometime today or at the latest tomorrow morning, WalesOnline understands.
The Newcastle winger is expected in the Welsh capital today to complete paperwork and final formalities.
He will then head to join up with boss Russell Slade and the Bluebirds squad, at their training camp in Leicestershire
