Do we really need them. We have a solid defence which have plenty of cover and competition in all areas. Our center midfield consist of gunnar whitts ralls diko okeefe all on they good day are better than most top championship players. Our wingers noone pilks harris john kennedy whitts ralls same again better than most top championship players. I dont even have to mention our strikers My point is that last season this is the side that everyone was saying will piss this league and with that norwegian fool and slade getting the squad bonded together and fit which we were none of that under ole i think we can push on this year and really go for it. I didn't think we had a particularly good squad last year, and after finishing almost 30 points behind the top 2, I think that proved that our squad wasn't good enough to make a promotion challenge. I agree that we have made some improvements with fitness etc., but even if that translates into an extra 10 to 15 points, that will still not be anywhere near enough to get us up. Other championship teams have also made improvements, and while I disagree with those who say we could be relegated, I think we will do well to finish above half way.

we totally under achieved last year there's no reason why we can't make the playoffs this year we have a bigger much better squad than most of the championship clubs hopefully slade and the players will
be up for the fight this year

Well lets hope you are right. I said at the start of last season that we probably had the biggest squad, but nowhere near the best. Personally, I feel pretty much the same again, and I am not particularly excited with our current crop of players. We will find out how things are going to pan out in a few months, but I have a feeling we are going to struggle in the early part of the season, and be out of the running by xmas. I will be happy if I am proved wrong as I would like to see top flight football, having been one of the ones who refused to attend when we played in red.
