Sammy Ameobi has not made his decision on where he wants to play his football next season.

It is not a done deal with Wolves at this stage but they are the front runners but City have not been ruled out by the winger.

Newcastle have offered Ameobi a new contract and if he signs it then goes out on loan, the club he joins on a season long will cover all of his wages.

Ameobi has asked for a little more time before he makes his decision.

I expect he will choose Wolves tbh.

It's nothing like Ince! He's already agreed his contract with the Toon so he will earn the same money whoever he plays for on loan.
He will just be mulling over which club most closely matches his ambitions. Who would you choose if you had no loyalty to either club??

I sincerely hope we don't break the bank for this player. Not exactly a player to get exited about.

I am also not keen on these kind of "will he or won't he" signings which are played out daily in the media.

I'd much prefer signings akin to Doyle myself as these players are the hungry type you need to sustain a good season in this division.

The squad is already full of quality players, which were signed from last season, and two or three additions which are not played out in the media will be sufficient.

Definitely, when Doyle singed he said as soon as cardiff rang he was on the motorway. Granted he was from a lower league but I'd rather see hunger than some premadonna
