Reading have signed recent released defender Paul McShane not sure if we were linked with him but another fantastic free transfer slips away, and I only just can't see who if anyone would want to play under Slade, he's not a man that would inspire me.

Can only assume that McShane potentially moving to Reading was a factor in where Quinn decided to go.

Lets have a bit of perspective. While I agree he's a good player at this level that would give us 5-6 centre halves, Bruno, Turner, Morrison, Adeji, Connelly and Oshilada . Not needed at this moment in time. Hope slade can persuade thre-four good midfielders to the club, but agree I have my doubts.
