Yeah, I was probably a bit harsh with my first post lol but honestly (granted I don't watch much women's football) but if they want the women's game to be taken more seriously, then they really have to do something about the standard of refereeing. Every game I've watched at this world cup, its been shocking. If a decision like that England penalty was given in the men's game, there would be hell to pay. And it wasn't a one off, its happened throughout this tournament. They should also bring in a rule where games can only be played on natural grass or hybrid grass. They've struggled to string any passes together on them astro turf pitches. It hasn't helped at all

Welsh rugby commentators use both names as well. It irritates me no end though I make allowances if the player is Davies or Williams.

To be fair, I haven't watched any of this competition as I'm not keen on women's football. I've only seen clips on the news but some some of the goals have looked decent. Mind you, the women goalkeepers are shite.
