How many new signings in first starting XI

Wed Jul 01, 2015 3:50 pm

How many new signings do people think we will see playing when we play fulham I'm going for just the 1 as I don't think we are going to sign many players that are better that what we already have I can only really see us signing squad players hope I'm wrong though desperately in a striker with some pace aswell as a good CM.

I wouldn't care if we didn't sign anyone I am happy with our current squad and blend some youth into the team. :thumbright: :sladein:

Can you honestly say that you would be happy watching boring, dire football? The main reason why 5-8K have not renewed their season tickets. Would you like Cardiff to progress and push on for promotion? Based on this squad that is clearly not going to happen.

Yes I do want my club to progress but on a stable platform and Bournemouth and Watford didn't add much to their squads last summer they just let their squads gelled even more and which is what we should be doing is to not add to much players because I am a firm believer that the more the squad stay the same it will become successful because the players have known each other for a while and what each others game and that's what Bournemouth did. :thumbright:

Yes, the difference with Bournemouth and Watford is they both had decent managers, they both played attacking attractive football, they both banged in plenty of goals and they many skilful players. Unfortunately we do not tick many if any of those boxes!

Maybe so but they let their squads stay pretty much the same without adding some players and their players knew each other by being together a while without much change which I think was also reason for their success and I think we should do the same. :thumbright:

Agree!
Marshall
Peltier. Manga. Turner. Fabio/John
Noone Whitts Gunnar Ralls Kennedy
Jones.
That's a better team than when we went up

I'm sorry but I'm going to have to disagree with that

McNaughton better than Peltier
Hudson better than turner( and we actually had a proper captain)
Bellemy still in the side
Cowie a great hardworke something we are short of ATM.
Mutch, Kimbo, Campbell for the 2nd half of the season so we actually had some pace up top
