Their squad is getting better and better. They could now get in my opinion the best defender in world football. Even if they keep him for 6 years, that is what, 5 ish million quid a year?. Not bad business considering they'll also get a shed load from shirt sales.
And Memphis Depay and they'll get others. Player for player I think they are on par if not better than Chelsea now.
Get your money on them!!.

Manchester United have made a £28.6m bid for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
The Red Devils believe the 29-year-old wants to leave Real after they failed to offer him an extension to his contract, which expires in 2017.
The Spain international has made 445 appearances for the Bernabeu club.
United manager Louis van Gaal wants defensive reinforcements to help his team improve on last season's fourth-place Premier League finish.
Ramos joined Real from Sevilla in 2005 and scored their injury-time equaliser in their Champions League final victory over Atletico Madrid in 2014.
He has 128 Spain caps and was in the starting line-up as they won Euro 2008, Euro 2012 and the 2010 World Cup.

I dont think the bid revealed yesterday late in the afternoon has been rejected yet.

I think they will be up there, especially if they make a few more big signings.

That would be one hell of a signing if they can pull it off.

Personally think Ramos is after a bigger contract at RM, and he will be staying put.
Big signing for UTD and the Premier league if it happens though.

Going to be a good year this year. I can see Arsenal winning it.

I just think that they are trusting Van Gaal too much with their spending.

Cant see Ramos leaving. He is a Real Madrid legend.

Totally disagree with this post. I personally think Man Utd will do well to get in the top 4 for the next few seasons. They need to be signing the next up and coming world class youngsters, not big names past their sell by date. Van Gaal has overspent on loads of big named players last season without really improving them. Pretty much all of Van Gaal's signings have been flops considering the money he's spent on them. Ramos would get physically dominated in the Premiership I reckon and Depay is supposed to be talented but has a stinking attitude. Van Gaal is going to fail miserably imo. Imagine the flak Moves would get if he was still there!

Think they will come good next season. It was all about getting used to van gaals system last season which was quite alien to Manchester united, but there were signs towards the end of last season that they were getting used to it. A lot depends on who else they bring in this summer, but I deffo think they will be right up there in the league, and will be in the mix at the later stages of the champions league. The likes of d maria will come good for them. Between them and arsenal for the league title next season for me. I might also put a few quid on arsenal to win the champions league.

I personally think they are spending money for the sake of it, and bringing in whatever big names they can. Not the Man Utd way of doing things, and in truth I don't think they are100% sure how to go about their business in this way.

I think if Arsenal sight a good defensive midfielder then they will be in with a shout too. They could perhaps do with a world class striker as well as another central defender.
I think it will be a good season, Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea all in the title hunt. Not sure about Man City, with Aguero you cant rule them out but he does tend to get injured a bit.
I think Liverpool are out of the title picture epecially if they lose Sterling.
