These are two players that have been heavily rumoured to join us in the next week or so. Both coming from clubs that have just been relegated from the Premier League and will probably be part of a summer yardsale as managers try to rebuild their teams.
Personally, I would be delighted if we could get these two. Both been part of a promotion campaign and have Premier League experience. They will bring pace and creativity to the squad and hopefully a bit of grit as well. I've always admired these two as decent players. If these are the type of players we can bring in, the next season will go better than most people think.
If it comes off, it proves that Slade can attract quality and improve to the squad.
Opinions?

I would prefer Hoilett than Stephen Quinn.

Same here, but if we could get both of them that would be great. Sorry, my mistake.

I thinks it's one or the other and my choice would be Hoilett.

Where has hoilett been linked?
Apart from a poster saying on here that he has a feeling we will sign him but no source

Carl said that two Premier league players were on there way and then a poster seemed to know the names and mentioned these two.

one in a relegated team, the other still in the prem, so that rules out one of them

God, I really hope we aren't after Paul Quinn. We got rid of him a couple of seasons ago haha! I am pretty sure you mean Stephen Quinn, either way I think they are both underwhelming targets! Hoilett has always been a let down, and Stephen Quinn isn't exactly a massive improvement if any, on what we've already got.

I'd rather Paul Quinn back than Stephen Quinn.
Always remember how immense he was against Leicester that game when Gabor took one for the team and got sent off for rugby tackling one of the Leicester players.
And I can't remember Paul Quinn ever celebrating a goal in front of our disabled fans.

I would happily drive Hoilett up to CCS myself if it means we got rid. One hell of a big disappointment. A Bertie Big Bollox who thinks he is worth more than what he actually is, which over the last three years is nothing. One trick pony who executes that one trick badly.

Hoilett will get plenty of love from Slade.
Just like Guerra, Daehli, Adeyemi, Declan John, Burgstaller,Le Fondre all felt the warm glow of Russell's love.

You do realise that it should read on their way! Who the hell is your English teacher?

Paul Quinn just had a really good season in the Scottish Premiership with Ross county and looks as though he has earned a move to Aberdeen so fair play to him!
