' FIRST PROPOSED BID FOR CITY CENTRE HALF '

Adedeji Oshilaja, City's young centre half, is the subject of a proposed £200k bid from AFC Wimbledon. I was told earlier that Wimbledon are ready to make the bid.

Oshilaja spent time on loan at Wimbledon, managed by former City academy manager Neal Ardley.

The youngster is probably the fifth or sixth choice centre half at City and may just welcome the move.

It would be a good because Neal Ardley coached him in the Academy.

If we can get 200k for him then I would take it. Don't like to see young players go but that's a decent fee for what he is worth.

True but I would only loan him to a team that is willing to pay his wages. Our wage bill is big enough without us paying for a player to play for another team in the hope he might be a good player!
