I read in the news that in the last year, the UK population has risen by 500,000 to around 64 Million and around half of that increase is based on migration into the country. From education and so forth I have learnt that a mixture of cultures is beneficial but carries disadvantages to as racial hatred is stirred and people are blamed for many things. As a Anglo- Asian person i kind of sit on the fence and believe that there is a limit of migration, however the UK has way over exceeded this for many reasons.
Firstly, the UK have high wage demands and it is much cheaper to hire from elsewhere, secondly, most people don't want to be a bin man for example and some clearly don't want to work. These factors lead to the emphasis on immigration and the most important factor which I am sure no one is aware of is that the UK population is at a standstill is figures were based on nationals. This is because people delay marriages and some don't want children, For Great Britain to remain 'Great, they need a large workforce and that it why we have so many immigrants.
Not to mention we went to countries during colonisation teaching everyone how great our country was and hows prosperous it was.
What is your opinions?

As a country I feel we are sitting on a powder keg, and one day it's going to explode, the great British people will only take so much

Immigration is fine as long as they are skilled workers or have something to offer the country and are not allowed to claim benefits for a certain amount of years or until they have paid a certain amount of tax into the country.
The migration of the people trying to sneak into the country is wrong and needs stopping before we have big problems , the numbers are just too great for this small island to handle.
Refugees are fine for a while but once the war in the country they come from is over they should be sent back immediately.
In my eyes that's how it should work .

Got no problems with skilled people coming on who add something to the UK.
I go past the main home office immigration offices every day and the queues are getting longer it reminds me of the early 2000,s .

The reality is Britain's population is already past 80 million. The big food stores said this several years ago.
On current trends with mass immigration and Third World birth rates we should be past the 100 million mark within the next 25 years. Shanty towns are already springing up in London and other parts of the United Nations.
My prediction is within 100 years from now we'll become an Islamic state!

I agree with that up until the last paragraph. Immigrants should only be allowed in if they have an offering of a skill and expertise jobwise to make to the country.... Not floods of immigrants coming over for benefits and an easy ride.

I work in Saudi Arabia because I had a skill they wanted and they paid me well for it. They even provided me accommodation.
Once in the country I had to carry identification indicating I was allowed in the country. If I wanted to leave I had to get permission from them. Why well what if I owed money to someone.....they were not going to let me go until I had paid up.
I was entitled to apply for a thing called a multi entry visa. That allowed me to leave and return to the country as many times as I want for a period of 3 months. It cost me a bit but at least if things got a bit serious I could get out. Well I would be able to escape if I had no fines to pay and that includes things such as parking or speeding fines. I knew a few who got stopped going on leave who had forgotten to pay those fines.
Yes a lot look at a place like Saudi as a backward country but to me they have this bit right.
