" All a bit quiet at the moment "

I doubt we'll be able to sign anyone without selling first, so it's a bit of a concern that very little seems to be happening in terms of sales.
Hopefully it will get busy in the next week or so.

We don't want to be doing too much business after the season starts.
That rarely seems to work out well.

We are becoming more stable and not buying players for the hell of it for a change. :thumbright: :sladein:

It's a case of having a happy medium. I agree that the club needed to pull in the purse strings but we also need to add 3/4 quality players or we can forget about promotion. The club are constantly saying that their ambition is to get back to the Premiership. Based on the dealings over the past 6 months that's a long way off.

There is no way on this earth that we are going to get anywhere near the top 6 with the squad we have. Unfortunately, many of the bargain basement players that were brought in during January are not going to get us promoted.

We are looking for promotion but with more stability than last time and we have still got a quality squad I think just a couple of good signings and we are all set. :thumbright:

I disagree, we were in turmoil last season a million changes yet still finished mid table. I think the standard of the division isn't great at the moment, we will improve on last years position. I think we have a decent chance not because we are good but because I don't think you need to be great to finish top 6
