Bolton Wanderers need to find themselves a regular goalscorer after Adam Le Fondre finished his loan spell and none of their other forwards managed to bag more than six goals. The Bolton News is now reporting that The Trotters are set to swoop for Sheffield Wednesday Scottish international forward Chris Maguire.

He is currently out of contract with Sheffield Wednesday and has stalled on signing a new deal. His ability to play on the wings as well as through the middle would give Neil Lennon a number of options and wouldn't block up and comer Zach Clough's progress.

So Adam Le Fondre is not going back to Bolton? Can't see him turning up for us after last season. Hopefully someone comes in and buys him for a decent sum of money
