Championship side Cardiff City look set to sign three players this summer following talks between Russell Slade and Vincent Tan over the transfer budget.
Slade wants to get Cardiff back in the top-flight
Slade has been given the means to buy three players after a total of four meetings with Tan, one in Bosnia, one in Malaysia and two in the UK, one of which lasted four hours.
Those targets include a quick winger with a good cross, a right-back to give former Leeds man Lee Peltier some competition, as well as a central midfielder who can dictate the match.
However, none of those targeted are Derby winger Johnny Russell, Swindon full back Nathan Byrne or Honduran international forward Alberth Ellis.
They’re also hoping to ship out up to seven players this summer, which would include Javi Guerra, Adam Le Fondre, Filip Kiss, Etien Velikonja and Joe Lewis, all listed by the club available for transfer or loan.

Thats nowhere near enough, we need to ship a few more out and get at least six new players in to have a fresh look about the sqaud, and play a different way to create more, other wise it will be as bad to watch as last year hope im wrong though

So what happened to the dozens of players who we were linked with a few weeks back. Like many of us said at the time, it happens every year and you have to be pretty gullible if you seriously thought any of those players were really going to sign for us.

Paper Talk Paper Talk and even more Paper Talk. The key to all this is that the club have actually said nothing

I am pretty sure the journalist has got some of his facts mixed up here.
I believe RS had meetings with VT in Bosnia and in Malaysia , but none in the UK. I think he is mixing up VT with Mehmet Dalman with whom RS has had talks in the UK about the transfer targets and budget.
