Cardiff City's games in Amsterdam are called off.
But training and some minor games will still go ahead in Amsterdam but maybe behind closed doors or at small clubs.

We will be looking for alternative fixtures.

Very unprofessional. This will hamper our pre-season preparations.

Dutch authorities wouldn't allow it due to possible fan trouble. They sound worse than the f*cking Yorkshire police!

Swansea and a few other clubs have had problems concerning friendlies in Holland, with games being called off due to fears of trouble, surely our club looked into this before announcing fixtures, clueless just waste of time

Millwall had all their pre-season games called off in Germany a few years back. Only had training and a match behind closed doors, as some journalists made local politicians and police crazy, who thought WW3 might break out...

I had a feeling this would happen. Dutch fans are known for their shenanigans and to be fair, so are City's!
The trouble is, as you said at the time Annis, the links with our neighbours are quite strong too, so there'd be plenty looking for it just because of their affiliation to the jaxx.
Biggest worry is there's no plan B, apart from playing some second rate games behind closed doors. Meanwhile, you can bet rivals are going ahead with their tours.
Infuriating.

I don't get how this wasn't sorted months ago? Our Sunday League football tour has been booked since February. Granted, we don't need to take into account so many factors such as policing etc but surely gives even more reason for the club to sort it out sooner.

The Leeds United tickets were bad enough, let alone calling off the pre-season tour.
