England beat Norway 2-1 to reach the Women's World Cup quarter-finals

didn't see that coming - I switched off at half time as it was a dreadful game and England looked clueless. I enjoy the women's football a lot - virtually no arguing with the ref, no histrionics and on the whole good sportsmanship as well as liking it for the obvious reasons

England are doing exactly what teams like Germany and Italy have done repeatedly at the men's World Cup. They are playing terribly but still progressing. I still think they'll struggle when they come up against one of the big guns like USA or Germany but they've exceeded expectations by beating Norway and the possibility of defeating Canada isn't entirely unrealistic. It will be tough but they need a big performance.

I'm really enjoying the Women's World Cup. Of course, it's not as high tempo as the men's version but it's very exciting and some of the goals have been spectacular.

womans football is f*cking dreadful, parks football at best yet some fool on here thinks that they are good enough to play in the Championship!!!!
