Tim Sherwood confident

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood believes new-signing Micah Richards has the attributes to turn the team’s fortunes around.

Richards won Premier League and FA Cup winners' medals at Manchester City before moving on loan to Fiorentina last season.

The 26-year-old agreed a four-year deal with Villa on Wednesday, and Sherwood thinks he can emulate Tom Cleverley, who revived his England career during his loan spell at the club last season.

They need more than one right back to turn that sh*t heap of a team around! It is a great signing though and a good start but they need 5-6 new players in.
