Crystal Palace's board are ready to block Alan Pardew's move for Charlie Austin as they do not want to pay £15m for him. (Daily Mirror).

To be fair, in today's world that's decent business if you ask me. He did well last year on a poor team.

He did wonders last year, I would imagine that he would be given funds to strengthen the squad.
