Boro loan star Jelle Vossen has paved the way for a move to Scottish champions Celtic.
The Glasgow giants have yet to table a formal transfer bid for the £2.2m rated international striker but have expressed their interest to his bosses at Belgian club Genk.
And Vossen, who scored nine goals in 42 games for Boro, has admitted he is flattered.
“Celtic is a club I admire. It is a big club and a great club," he said.
"When I was younger, I watched a lot of their games in the Champions League. Celtic have had great teams and some Belgian players have been over there already.”
