Championship trio chase deal for Swindon Town star

A trio of Championship sides are interested in signing Swindon Town star Nathan Byrne, according to FLW Sources.
The 23-year-old was superb for Swindon Town last year, ending up in the League One Team of the Year with nine assists and four goals for Swindon.
Fulham, Cardiff City and Brentford are all paying attention to his situation at the club. Byrne has a year left on his current deal at the County Ground and could force a move away from the Robins.
His contract was due to expire this summer but Swindon had an option of extending his contract by a further year.
Cardiff are said to have made a £500,000 bid for the former Bournemouth man, while Premier League side West Bromwich Albion are understood to be lining up a move.
Swindon are depleted of last years stars that helped them to the play-off final, and will need to replace players such as Byrne this summer.

If this is true and we manage to sign him, that would be an amazing bit of business. I watched him play a few times last season. He's young, full of talent and one of those players that'll get you on your feet every time he gets the ball. Tricky and pacey.

Wez, I'm not sure if City have even made a proper bid for any players yet,thats why I put a ?

It said on WOL that we are not interested in him on the Slade and Dalman article.
