Is it true we are in talks with him to have him back? I hope it is! Looks a quality little player.

City would love to have him back, but we could not afford to buy him.

Would be a good addition.

A little injury prone though.

How much would Everton want for McAleny? Looked a good player with plenty of potential, a shame with the injuries he picked up on loan here last season but would be happy to have him back again this season

I'm guessing it was a loan deal again. But if we can somehow muster a purchase I'd be very happy.

He picked up a couple of injuries doesn't mean he's injured prone or a sick note. All players get injuries!

We can! His contract runs out 2017 and he is not getting into Everton's team any time soon. 500k max. If we can be linked with Murphy for 4m, we can definitely afford McAleny

He's worth getting back on loan if we can.

I think he will cost a little more than 500k... I'd think closer to the 2 million mark would get him. I'd take him on loan for the duration of the season if a permanent deal can't be made :ayatollah:

What has he done to justify a 2m price tag? Not scored consistently in the lower leagues and barely featured for Eveton. If Marshall is rated worth at 3m then how can McAleny be just 1m below him. Not a chance! Mason was 250k when we bought him, so McAleny isn't far off that. A loan move would be beneficial for us I think :ayatollah:

I agree with above another loan to us would suffice.

Ross McCormack was signed by Fulham for £11,000,000. That doesn't me that he was actually worth or warranted that price tag...
McAleny has great potential at 22 years old and has played for the Everton first team a couple of times. £2,000,000 isn't even that much of a price in the modern day game. I'm pretty sure that he'd cost more around what I valued him at than 500k :bluebird:
