Toshack was probably the main reason I began supporting this club when I was a kid. Still the best striker I have seen at Cardiff, someone you could pretty much guarantee to get you 20+ goals in a season.

He was and people think getting rid of garerra is bad? We sold tosh in Jan replaced him around end Feb with warbouys cost us promotion without a doub't! :o brilliant striker .

I think it was the period between selling Toshack and the signing of Warboys that cost us that season. If Toshack had not been sold, or if Warboys had joined us within days rather than weeks of Toshack leaving, we would have gone up. Both of them knew where the net was, and at the present time, I don't think we have a striker at the club anywhere near as good as either of them.
