Good luck to him - for all his faults we played the best football under him for many years and if he had the budget Malky or Ole did I am sure we would have been promoted sooner and stayed up.

I dont know why people slate Jones. Yes, he was a know-all, dour tw*t, but we played some great football under him. We played with proper strike partners, wingers, proper full-backs, and the odd flair player.
Yes, he spent a fortune, but god, they were exciting times. Apart from the Boro game, I think he did pretty well.
