Surely means any talks have been done and manga is happy to stay and that's a major coupe for us cos he will be the one the defence is built around as he's the one with gd distribution which is so important in today's game

I won £550 off a £2 bet thanks to Bruno, I live away but all the games I saw he was best player on the pitch plus he has goals in him which is great for cheeky little bets

That is terrific news for me. As he is the best centre half in the Championship in my opinion, even better than some of the centre halves that have come down from the Premiership too.

Also, over the past few years Peter Whittingham has always been one of the players that would model the new kit, yet he was not one of the few players chosen this year. Could this be a sign that he may not be guaranteed a starting place every game, like he has been over the past few years? I hope there is a chance that Whitts is one of the high earners who needs to be sold this summer. As I just don't think he is anywhere near good enough anymore and as each season passes he seems to be less and less effective or influential.

I think this summer should be to a certain extent - an out with the old and in with the new - situation. But, with players like Marshall, Turner, Gunnarsson and one or two others from our Championship winning squad, staying and remaining important players in our squad. As I think we need a good squad of around 22-23 players. Having a good enough squad overall is just as important as having a good starting XI. There's no point in us having a really good starting eleven, that when a few of those players get injured or suspended, we haven't got good enough quality in reserve. We really need to get rid of most of the high earners that are just happy to collect their wages and other players who lack progression and have become stale at the club and then replace them with some younger, hungrier, hard working and talented players, as well as some experienced, hard working, determined, committed and influential players. We have to get the balance right.

Manga is our main asset. He could easily play in the Premiership. How he's still with us I'll never know. I dont think anyone else in the current squad apart from Marshall could.
