At The End Of Last Season

Slade said we are going to win at leeds :old: Confidence came back and we started winning a few games
Just hope enthusiasm is still there and we get off to a good start and play decent football and players give 110%. Thats all the fans ask for and they will be back

But still unsure about slade to be honest would like to see more pace in the side. Heard its quite busy down the city maybe fans are coming around to tan as he has started to get things going in the right direction everything looking normal again :bluebird:

The pressure was off come the end of the season.

How many teams have we seen relegated and then win the next week. Pressure is on slade and he has to perform from the off.

Well i got frustrated last season like many others on here. When slade took over he did well at first we were top 8.Then there was a slide and the football was watching sunday league with a few with hangovers 8-) ....... brighton home was terrible. Slade has been giving the go ahead and i know a lot will stay away. It will take time to get the cardiff fans back. Well back in blue is a start and things at the ground going blue which should never had changed but fair play you dont have to go red to get a Tan :old:

I'm more optimistic than most, I'm looking forward to just focussing on and enjoying the football and not having to worry about the circus. I think we'll be battling for a play off place weather we make it in the top 6 or not well be up there somewhere and ready to knock on with a young squad.

We had a good run in because the opposition was on the easy side against teams that basically were in a worse state than us.

Excluding Brentford which in my mind was a freak result in our favour all the not so easy teams took us to the cleaners. These first ten games we have are not easy and I will say these games will tell us if we are going to be pushing for it, staying mid table or will have a relegation fight on our hands.

I'm hoping we are building a settled squad with younger players who will be here for 4-5 years at least. Would be great if we were in with a chance of play offs all season. If we pick up a few early wins the confidence in the team will rise with the younger players and they will believe.
