Love having the bluebird back. It's the first time we will have a bluebird branded stadium as we shared with the Cardiff Blues before the rebrand.

Looks great. Fair play to Tan and the club, they could have been subtle about going back to blue but the club seem to be embracing it, great to see :ayatollah:

Wouldn't mind a new chant down the CCS this season :thumbright:

"Our city is blue, our city is blue.. We're Cardiff City, our city is blue!" :ayatollah:

It's OUR home now. No Cardiff Blues there, the front of the stadium draped in Blue. This is our stadium! :ayatollah:

Let's hope they paint those red girders on the back of the new stand blue as well!

Looks great. Do anyone know if they will replace the dugout seats as that's got the previous badge as well.

I'm old enough to know better but I feel surprisingly chuffed to see that. It feels like Cardiff City again.

I know there will be some who will never forgive VT but, for me, he has exceeded expectations here.

The rebrand was a mistake. He was, perhaps, badly advised. And he took the decision to correct the mistake.

The mistake lasted a few years. Difficult as it may have been it was only a short time in the clubs history and "Yma o Hyd" - We are still here.

But rather than just correct the mistake I do think he has gone a step further. I do like the new kit. Whether purposely or not there is no red on there. I expected there to be. And the branding outside the stadium "Our City is Blue" is indeed a very bold statement from the owner of our club.

I have a good feeling about this season.

VT has incorporated an Oriental Dragon into the badge thereby introducing an icon that has no relevance to Cardiff City and we are expected to believe he has learnt from his previous mistakes.

Only Cardiff City fans can think this way. 3 years of rebrand has left the fan base in denial of the truth, traumatised

I think that was the point I was making. I initially didnt expect a return to blue but when it was announced I was surprised - but I was expecting a little bit of red in the shirt. Clearly someone has suggested that this wouldn't be a good idea and VT has gone with that.

I was expecting some red branding around the stadium. Sure it was red for the Wales game but that was quickly taken down and replaced with blue.

For me it appears that VT is trying is hardest not to offend anyone and I genuinely get the impression that he wants to be part of us.

I think most of us will admit that he could have just, reluctantly, changed back to blue - but he didnt. He went the extra mile and come out with the #ourcityisblue slogan. That is a very bold statement in my opinion.

Having watched the bluebirds for some 40 odd years and now being luckily enough to work alongside the club and provide images for the match day program I would like to think I am able to retain my impartiality. The dragon is not a problem in my opinion. Some may say it has nothing to do with Cardiff but some may point to the top of Cardiff City Hall and say the Dragon has always been part of Cardiffs history and now with an owner who wants to return us to the Premier League

You have the right perspective on this. Just a shame a lot of so-called fans on these pages remained blinkered and seem content to maintain the divide between fans, if not extend it.
