:bluescarf: " SEASON TICKET SALES/NEW BLUE KIT " :bluescarf:

As everyone knows the sales of season tickets so far have been awful

But hopefully the New Blue kit which has been welcomed by 99% of Cardiff City and many saying its the best kit for years, will get the City fans excited again :thumbright: :thumbright:

The sales of shirts are expected to be the highest for years and hopefully the club do get them on sale for July 3rd :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I am not a Vincent Tan fan,but at last he is starting to get something right :thumbright: :bluescarf: Now its time to, for his other promise Debt to equity. :thumbright:

Lets hope this has a knock on effect and season ticket sales start to drastically improve, there is still 6 weeks to go, so lets sell at least another 5,000 plus :thumbright: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Renewed my season ticket a while ago and already looking forward to next season... Not sure how I'll feel in October though

As you say, we now have a great kit and I expect there to be far less problems with this kit now that Adidas are involved :bluescarf:

That was in exchange for a change to red that the fans renegaded on so no need for him to do it at all. Sure he will do it in time but no doubt when he's ready not when we want him to be. We're back in blue just be happy about it and leave the rest up to him.

No it was not in exchange for a change to red.

The filmed interview in July 2013 with Vincent Tan himself , in which he clearly said he would be converting all his debt to equity (he quotes the debt as being £130m) within days of reaching agreement over the Langston debt (the agreement was signed shortly thereafter)is still available for all to see via a Google search (look for Vincent Tan honorary degree). There was no condition attached regarding a red kit.

No fans reneged (see what I did there!) on any deal. It is just that VT has not honoured his word on the subject.

In my book the fans did renegade (prefer it spelt that way). They always want the penny and the bun.

100% Not true.

The club denied that they would change to blue.(DID go back on their word) but said they would have to find other investors to either buy the club or help. After a consultation poll was conducted by WalesOnline, CCSC and CCST, the club decided to go ahead with it as they felt it would take the club to the next level. This was part of the deal, a new training ground, funds for players and debt to equity was part of the deal. We were red in the Prem and we earned a fair bit of money. This put a bit of money in Tan's pocket in terms of his brands being advertised on a global scale, so I'd assume he earned a bit of money on free advertising on our behalf! Not that money is an object to him, he will have used the marketing he got from the Prem and some of the money he got, put that in his back pocket and kept it. We shouldn't expect debt to equity any time soon in my opinion because it's not part of the deal anymore, he didn't do it when he said he would which is a bit of a let down really. Maybe he will once Langstone is sorted in the courts? Our debt to equity or the closest thing to it is having a blue club, we still have MASSIVE amounts of debt hanging over the club but we have our identity back and he is continuing to bring down the wage bill, so he is not losing as much as before.

Steve  In the last 3 years the amount of lies and porkies that have come from City is unbelievable & back tracking/changing their minds :laughing6: :laughing6:

As to the nearly 10,000 season ticket sales ? ? ?

Last season, they put out 18,000 and at that time it was 12,000, we eventually sold 16,000.

I honestly dont believe them, but if I am totally wrong, much much better than I thought or was told :thumbright:

But We can All help and promote them :thumbright:

10,000 barrier and with their now new Blue kit released today as well(19/06/15),with 6 weeks to still go, City at this rate, must be expecting to sell 15,000 by the time the season starts. Hmmmm

I really really hope so, that would mean crowds of 18,000 next season. :thumbright: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

But how close? 9,500, 8,000, might even be around 7,000. seems to be a ploy to get more season ticket sales.

We'll see true number sold first game against Fulham.

Re: " RIGHT CARDIFF CITY FANS OVER TO YOU "

Fri Jun 19, 2015 5:00 pm

When I got our season tickets refunded for turning red, many said that my son and I would come crawling back once we reached the premiership. Missed a Championship winning season, missed the premiership and missed the majority of last season.... :sad7:

However, back in blue and even though apparently the team are now shite  we've got our season tickets back in the Canton Stand. :bluebird: :bluescarf:

It was never about the position of the team or success, it was about being Cardiff City FC and to me the red wasn't a true representation of the club I loved.

Put the red tops here :digging2: and fill it in sharpish.
