" IS HE READY FOR A HAT TRICK OF RELEGATIONS? "

Ex Cardiff City & QPR player Steven Caulker is in talks with Premier League new boys Bournemouth.

In my opinion, they must be mad, he's not a leader or a fighter.

I agree, he's an average championship defender at best :bluescarf:

Thought he was a good player when he first signed for us,but he gradually got worst and worst as the season went on. He took that form with him to QPR. I think he's overrated and totally agree Bournemouth would be mad to sign him.

Awful defender he is always running back into the box twenty seconds after the ball is in the back of the net and looking around to see whos fault it was, bournmouth would be better off with what they had last year

Would not surprise me if he has a buy out clause if relegated.

Being a bit tough on him I think. What is he,23?still a baby a centre half terms.Edie Howe can only help him as he is a good technical coach.Neither us or QPR can blame him entirely for relegation and to do so is well a bit ignorant in my view. What Howe has achieved with the players he's got is nothing shot of outstanding and Caulker will benefit from this should he end up there.

I am sure he is ready.

Guaranteed 1st team premiership football and a third signing on fee in as many seasons. Plus a salary in the region of £57k per week (as suggested by someone else on here).

It wouldnt surprise me if some players only courted clubs likely to get relegated - so as to guarantee a new signing on fee.

Ive said it before cardiff and qpr have got one big thing in common - they make good players look terrible.

He certainly doesn't show any loyalty to the clubs he has played for, if they go down his only concern/worry is if he can stay in the premiership with any club who will take him.

Jack, Caulker has no loyalty at all, how can other players respect him,he jumps ship far to often and for a quick pay day.

Let us down as a captain - left as soon as he could - no loyalty :digging2:

He's turning into one of those journey men pros. Such a promising future when he first came onto the scene, now he's just a piss head greedy b*stard with no loyalty.

Manga is a better defender and leader

i'm not surprised at all that he will end up in the PL again, i said he would in the previous thread on caulker.

he is not a fighter, but more of a cultured centre back. he showed he is a good player with swansea and spurs and ended up in crap teams as he wanted to play first team football. he was 21 and tasked with keeping together our defence which not many players could do. QPR are an unstable club and its no surprise they were relegated.

he could end up being a great signing.

His attitude stinks

Re: " IS HE READY FOR A HAT TRICK OF RELEGATIONS? "

I agree manga is a better defender, but if caulker stayed at spurs or went to a similar calibre club he would develop a lot faster and better. He still has some potential to become a very good finished article but heading to clubs like Bournemouth is not the way

A football mercenary only interested in cash and very overrated in my opinion :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluebird:

He's still living off his time at Spurs, where he was a promising youngster.

I'm sure I heard somewhere that he rented out John Barrowman's house while he was with us, and left it in and state as well.

Caulker has been slated above ( and possibly rightly so, ) - but let's not forget the record books will show that the winners of the first ever Welsh derby in the Premier League, were Cardiff City, and the winning goal was scored by the Cardiff City captain - Steven Caulker.

Would choose Bruno Ecuele Manga over Steven Caulker all day long :thumbright:

But thanks for that winner against the Jacks, will never forget it! :ayatollah:
