Would be a great signing if it happens, he was unlucky when he was on loan here at the end of last season and got injured

Where does this information come from? I want it to be true, but I've seen nothing about this anywhere.

I think that he would be a great signing for us. He is a very similar type of player to Mason, and they play in the same positions. However, I think Conor is a much better player than Mason is and he has got more end product to his game, whether it be an assist or a goal. Also, he is 2 years younger than Joe, which is always a good thing, cause we should be signing players that are around McAleny's age, as they are not the finished article just yet as they still have a bit more learning to do. Hopefully, we can get him in on the cheap and then sell Joe for £2m-£3m. This is a great chance for the club to raise some money by selling a player, then replacing him with a similar but much better player, who would be on lower wages and would be available for a pretty low fee, due to him being in the last year or last 6 months of his contract. I would be extremely happy with that outcome.

Assumed he was injured. Seemed to pick up a few to many injuries for my liking.

I agree with you on this. Looks better than Kennedy to me as well. My main worry is that he looks an injury -prone player. And we have already got more than our fair share of those.
