Mail / Sunday Mercury from the Wolverhampton papers and he confirmed, Wolves had not made any bids at all so far.

Wolves have not even made a bid for Cardiff City' s Joe Mason, in fact up to this moment they have not even made contact with City.
It's all paper talk and in my opinion could even be City trying to get bids.

It was the paper talk that alerted Wolves to even think about him and you never know we might get a bid now?

But No contact with clubs at all so far.

I though it was an odd story, Joe Mason hasn't shown much to be valued anything over £1m. It's good to have him back but we wouldn't miss him if he left. Maybe he can shine for us this season.

Jon, for me it was putting Mason in the shop window and inflating his price,you never know it might have worked.

think this is par for this time of pre season. so many unfounded stories off players in and out! seems every target of ours is wanted by premier club? and we hav'ent offered a penny as of yet for anyone ? think its safer to wait until its official we have signed player before i get excited or depressed by signings!!

Thought the prices sounded crazy. Be lucky to get 1m
