With the good feel factor in full flow around Wales with the results of the national team has this got you anymore excited or looking forward more to next season and supporting Cardiff City?
I was genuinely excited and had a buzz in the lead up to the Belgiam game last Friday and I am not saying I don't look forward to City games but I was more excited about the Belgian match than I have done in quite some time with City.
There is a nationwide good feeling about Welsh football, so has it got you looking forward to the new domestic league season kicking off ?
With Wales playing at CCS and winning can it help to reignite the passion of City fans towards to the club ?
Is there an opportunity open to the club to interact with the fans and bring the club closer to the fans ?
Pricing perhaps ?
The demand for Belgian tickets was huge, obviously the importance of the game and what could be achieved with a good result but the prices must have helped.
It is fantastic to see and feel proud of the country, I hope we can feel that same level of feeling about the club too.
What are your thoughts, does the success of Wales make you wish City had a game on Saturday or are the two separated because of club and country ?

I didn't think about City in the lead up to the game. It certainly hasn't got me more excited, my feelings have not changed.

It was the greatest night on Friday. Welsh people supporting Welsh players, who play above their station, blood sweat and tears, unbelievable passion and desire it bounced between players manager and Us Fans it was phenomenal.
If we had Welsh players, or even academy lads getting a chance maybe you will seeote of that down the city, cos there were tens of thousands of Us city fans There on Friday. We could replicate that if we had Welsh players from this incredible squad creating a backbone for the team and reinvigorating the connection between fan and player

Carl,
The Welsh Success has really excited me

,giving me believe again in football, When Bale scored Ive not celebrated a goal like that for a long time.
City have been draining/hurting me for the last 3 years, in fact tired me out and lost my passion

I will go along with all that you have said there Annis, I felt it out in Belgium away, it was just so good to get away from all the negativity and depression surrounding City and be with all the Welsh fans out there who were as one, which of course carried through to Friday

City could learn a lot from Welsh FA in terms of marketing, ticket pricing, ticket allocation merchandising and general match day experience. They got everything right for the game on Saturday and the European campaign to date.

Somebody pick up the phone to FAW - £20 is Plenty, didn't see a steward. Stood most of the match in the red seats
Felt like a fan again and the ground felt like home.
Pull your socks up Nash and Dalman.
Someone inject testosterone and phet into our Russell
Keep away Tan

Yeah and we celebrated the final whilst like it was a goal in itself. Goal celebrations at Cardiff games lately have been so weak, probably because many of them have carried so little importance.

The goal.celebration was.the same for me.not felt that passion at football for many years. Last season was surreal I had a sort of I don't care attitude. Never took the defeats too hard like I used too. Wife is happier I guess.
Without jinxin I today have asked my boss for at least 2 weeks off from June 10th 2016. Thanks to Wales it has at least shown I still have passion for football like I always did. I just need to reconnect with city it what has been the worst 3 seasons supporting them since 92.

Can't really compare the two sides, as the Welsh team is basically full of top quality Welsh talent, and then there,s the City team. All passion in Cardiff has been thrashed out of it's fans over the past 3 years, all atmosphere in the ground has been stamped on by the club, so there,s no comparison. It could take a generation to get the passion back at CCFC

Opposite, it made me realise how boring City games have become, the atmosphere has completely drained away.......

Fixtures are out this morning and that NEVER fails to get me excited about the prospects for next season.
Wales did us ALL proud on Friday night and there was an object lesson for everyone because on the night the manager, players and fans were as one - Stronger Together, and what an evening that produced.
Maybe we should try and reproduce the "Stronger Together" attitude for Cardiff games next season.

No, not when I think of Slade just stood there in his grey top with his arms folded over his beer gut.

It all comes down to success at the end of the day people get exited to go and watch a team thats doing well, a lot of people on here bang on about glory hunters it does my head in, im no glory hunter been watching city since the seventies watched good and bad same with wales, but surely all the fans going to watch wales now are just glory hunters if the cardiff fans who watched us in the prem where, but there no mention of that on here, wales been averaging about fifteen thousand for a few years now so its all about winning than loyalty.

Dead right. It's all about results when it comes down to it. Wales have been crap for years. Like we are now. Thanks mainly to Solksaer.

It's not all about winning to me mate.
Winning the championship in and being on match of the day in red was just weird.
For all his bad mistakes, Sam Hammam had me more in tune and connected to my club than anyone, lots of Welsh players, and that wasn't all about winning, we are all different, not all of are as obsessed with winning
Wed Jun 17, 2015 11:43 am
Yes it does and see what winning does it fills seats.

Yes of course it does , the seats get filled with so called plastics and armchair fans, our championship winning year in red I knew at least 12 fans from my group of friends who stopped going, yet they were there during the dArker times with a season ticket, that's not about winning matches.
