' Latest on Russell Slade & New Signings '

At this current moment after returning from Malaysia after a short trip to meet Tan, Slade came back knowing his budget and is now currently on his holidays.

This does not mean we currently wont sign anyone this week,as Slade is contacting any potential signings by phone, but he has been told that a number of current players still have to leave ASAP.

I'm just as excited/ nervous about seeing who leaves!

Steve, at this current moment all our players have a price,if a club came in for them.

In my opinion, we still have a strong squad at this current moment in time :thumbright:

Players have it to leave, with all the loaners coming back we will still be miles over budget. The squad is also far too big to be healthy.
When large numbers of good players are out of the match day squad then you get divisions and factions.

Like Zabier I'm just as keen to see who goes, and KTC leaving , especially for a fee, is a start.

I do agree Tim, but we also need to keep hold of some of the quality players like Fabio and Manga. :ayatollah:

I'd like to keep them too, however I think we will have to accept that some might go.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Manga leave if a big fee is offered.
If that means we can keep Ralls, Gunnar, Turner, Fabio and a few more of the ones who performed for us toward the end of the season then that's fine with me.

Yeah, definitely. I'm sure that will change come the start of the season but then I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of clubs wait until the transfer deadline day to try and get our players at cut price. Clubs know we need to sell so think they will hold off as late as possible.

Going to be very very interesting Steve.

sadly, when looking to raise money, teams aren't interested in your dross, they only want your quality players. that means manga will be a prime target to leave. slade doesn't seem to want fabio, so he will go, you can only hope we get decent fees for both.

since clubs know we want to sell, it means we'll get less too, sadly.
