I'm surprised that there isn't a mention of the Severn Side Derby? Surely will be one of the most fiercely contested derbies in the Championship this year

Milton Keynes Dons will be eagerly anticipating their first season in the Sky Bet Championship, where they will face fixtures against the likes of Queens Park Rangers, Leeds United and Hull City.
MK Dons were promoted from Sky Bet League 1 last term, after scoring over 100 goals, but even with their attacking prowess they were unable to keep pace with eventual champions Bristol City.
Steve Cotterill’s side were the dominant force in the third tier and they will be aiming to be similarly successful in the Championship over the forthcoming campaign.
Doing so looks a tough test, with The Football League’s top division packed with quality. There are a number of eye-catching fixtures to look forward to, including Yorkshire-based clubs facing the prospect of a series of local matches.
Huddersfield Town, Hull City, Leeds United, Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday are within close quarters of each other, and there are other local rivalries to look forward to as well, with Nottingham Forest and Derby County also set to renew acquaintances.
Forest and Derby met twice last campaign, with the Reds having the better of the fixture – drawing the first clash 1-1 before winning 2-1 at the iPro Stadium.
Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters will also have a close eye on when their sides will meet, while Burnley and Blackburn Rovers have the East Lancashire derby to look forward to, not to mention encounters with the newly-promoted Preston North End.
There will be plenty of fresh faces to look out for in the Championship dugouts, too - Derby, Leeds, Brentford and Wednesday all head into the campaign with new managers in charge.

Mk Dons can look forward to what they like, but they should be reminded in every game that they're the ugly face of football. Never mind the sickening amount of money going to the premiership teams. Their involvement in League football and the way it was done should NEVER be allowed to happen again!

The answer is not on a postcard Sven but on here. Swansea City have been a football League cub for 113 years. Your rather childish and ill thought out reply makes one wonder how the hell you have moderator status. But hey! let's not let your bitterness get in the way of things eh? When the time comes for you lot, admin will not be an option.

Your current owner (who I admire for what he has achieved) built your club on the back of your CVA and is now reaping the rewards of that occurrence!
As I said, chidish and ill thought out. Our CVA has been argued many times on here and other MB'S for as long as we can remember. But the bottom line is that local business agreed to it in order that it's football club could survive, and they have reaped the benefits since many times over. Do you honestly think they would have voted for it if it meant them going to the wall? Do you really?
But hey you go on and compare that scenario with MK Dons stealing Wimbledons identity to create for themselves their very own football league club. all done at the expense of fans of another who had supported that club through the Southern league right through to the Premier and an FA cup win (not in 1927 i may add) too boot.
As for trolling dear Sven, my original post didn't even mention Cardiff City so how can that be trolling?
Yes Tan has paid off your creditors as part of the rebrand which most of you lapped up in order to have what your little cousins down the road had earned through hard work, honesty, good management and endeavour. But you sold your souls for it and when it went tits up you wanted your little blue ball back, so let's see what Tan has in store for you now. You had it, you fucked it up, and now it's time you paid for it. Thing is, how are you going to pay? Through hard work, honesty, good management and endeavour? Too late for that my friend!

Sadly, we're not dealing with people (64Troll is a good example) who can reconcile themselves with the truth!
You are seriously deluded, 64Jack and talking complete bollox!![]()
Do you seriously think your local businesses had a choice????![]()
![]()
![]()
As someone (shall we say) of more mature years, you will know firsthand what really occurred, but (in true neanderthal style) you will have swum around the goldfish bowl a few times since then and (as you clearly show in one comment above) you live in the now and the past appears to mean nothing!
A quick look at your (to date) 1470 posts on another club's Forum shows you to be a troll, as there is little of any real substance or contributory worth in the vast majority of them and you appear to 'bite' a lot when others give it back; usually retorting with insult and/or ridicule!
Of those posts that can be considered even remotely 'sensible' they are (in the main) ones that point out what Cardiff City fans should or should not do in any given circumstance and how your club are on such moral high ground when the truth is your club are only marginally (some might argue by the skin of your teeth) above Wimbledon in what occurred!
I guess there will be a further response to this post, but you need to remember one thing: Your club did go to the proverbial wall not once but twice and what has happened since occurred directly as a result of that insolvency and the freedom it gave the new Board to start afresh with a blank piece of paper; a point I have openly praised them for achieving more than once!
I'm certainly not deluded Sven, at least nor more than someone who in the past has claimed to have inside knowledge from the Swansea City boardroom.![]()
What choice did our creditors have? Well they could have said no and force the club into a higher offer, but no, as i said previously, which you have obviously payed little attention to (seems to be a trait of yours) Our creditors took the first offer available to them for the good of the club, and have been repayed many times over since. ie: Steve Penny Solicitors was owed money: Steve Penny is still the clubs solicitor getting it?
I have absolutely no idea why you have brought up my post history of 0.95 posts per day on here, and attempted to scutinise them in attempt to brand me a troll. Maybe you should have looked a bit deeper and you would have found out why I came here in the first place. It was actually in response too a plea for Swansea fans to get involved in a charity game to raise money for the family of Mikey Dye, who was tragically killed by a rival fan whilst going too watch his country playing football. I responded and organised it from our end at considerable expense to myself. But was worth it, a great day and a great cause.
Neanderthal? Shut up you stupid boy!

Quiz Question No.1: Which professional Welsh football club reneged on its debts (not once but twice) and rose to the giddy heights of the Premier League off the back of local businesses getting a few pennies in the £ in exchange for not allowing them to go to the wall in a similar fashion to that of Wimbledon FC (latterly MK Dons)?
Answers on a picturesque Gower postcard, please!

Sadly, we're not dealing with people (64Troll is a good example) who can reconcile themselves with the truth!
You are seriously deluded, 64Jack and talking complete bollox!![]()
Do you seriously think your local businesses had a choice????![]()

I'll give you full credit for the Mikey Dye effort!
Beyond that, I am confident in my previous comments!![]()
Anyway, holiday time for me! Have a good week yourself!
