“It was an unbelievable night for Welsh football – the best I’ve had playing for Wales,” said Cardiff-raised Gunter following the win.
“The last 35 minutes seemed to go in slow motion but the feeling at the end was worth every bit of pain and emotion.
“I thought the fans were unbelievable. It was the best atmosphere I’ve played in, so the fans deserve a big pat on the back.

I wish players like Gunter played for City,We need more local Welsh players in Cardiff's team.

That noise was unique. I've never ever heard anything like it. The stadium has been full before, but we all gave 100% as the 12th man.
Gunter was right. We deserve a pat on the back for willing them on.
When the anthem struck up again, I was on my feet and turned around. There were mainly kids and families but they were all having a go. It was inspirational. If we could bottle that, there wouldn't be anything but a home win at the CCS.
